About:
Dr. Ogunnaike is an Associate Professor of African Religious Thought and Democracy at the University of Virginia, with a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in African Studies and the Study of Religion from Harvard University. His research explores the philosophical and artistic dimensions of Islamic and indigenous traditions in West and North Africa, particularly Sufism and Ifa. He is also the author of Deep Knowledge and Poetry in Praise of Prophetic Perfection.
Dr. Ogunnaike’s work bridges traditional knowledge with contemporary thought, offering profound insights into the mystical dimensions of religion and art.
